As I told about Seo in my previous post, Seo means search engine optimization, whose job is to optimize any website or blog according to the search engine. There are some common terms of Seo which are Nofollow, Dofollow, Noindex, Doindex etc. All these words are very important for Seo.

When many new bloggers create a blog, they have the same problem that how to rank your blog on the first page. So friends, let me tell you that to rank any blog on the first page, you have to do Seo first, after that you will have to create a backlink. We will give backlink information in the next post. What is Nofollow and Dofollow link?
Before knowing about these links, we get to know about Link Juice. When we add any link in any article that means post, first Google bots follows that link and then passes its link juice. This link helps to rank juice website or blog.
Now know what is Nofollow link? Friends Nofollow is an HTML attribute that is used with anchor tag. Whenever you add any link with the Nofollow attribute, Google and other search engines do not follow that link. Simply put, Nofollow link does not allow any search engine to follow. Only the readers can follow this link. Example of nofollow link:

<a href="https://digitalgyanweb20.blogspot.com" rel="nofollow"> xyz </a>

What is a dofollow link? Whenever you create a link in your post, in a comment, in your blog, it is usually a Dofollow link which means that the link which is without Nofollow attribute is called Dofollow link. The dofollow link is followed by both the person and the search engine. Whenever a Dofollow link will be added to your post, Google bots will follow it and rank that link. Example of dofollow link:

<a href="https:// digitalgyanweb20.blogspot.com"> xyz </a>

Google has recently announced that Nofollow link will also help in page rank. Many people said that Nofollow link is of no use, but it is not that Nofollow link also helps in page rank means that Google also counts it.
The question of many people remains that who should make the Nofollow link. So let me tell that all the external links are there, make it Nofollow. There is already an option to add Nofollow link in Blogger but in WordPress you have to install a plugin through which any external link can be made nofollow link. We will write further posts about this. All the links in a by default comment become automatic nofollow.
